G’day, I am Marco 👋 #

I have been working in software for 15+ and I got to say it has been amazing. I have been lucky enough to work on projects using a variety of technologies that helped me to understand more about computer science and programming.

10 years ago I learned about functional programming and it was tremendous and refreshing and changed the way I was structuring my solutions (until now). During my journey, I have always been attracted to know more about how some unusual things work, like distributed systems, blockchain, and other stuff that awakened my curiosity.

I am a big fan of simplicity, one of the reasons I switched to Mac but I have also used different versions of Linux. I’m a true IT generalist and have a wide range of skills and experience with various platforms and technologies 🤓

I have worked in different positions, CTO, project manager, analyst, software developer and even supporting IT sales and business management but I have always been attracted to software development 😍 and that’s the reason why no matter what I was coding my whole life, inside and outside of the office.

I started a software company around 2016 called Evolbit and lately a project called Ned Finance. Both projects are an amazing way to continue learning and interacting with fascinating people.
